Yes! All our teas are 100% vegan. We don't use any animal-derived ingredients.

We take our packaging, and its potential environmental impact, very seriously. 

For our dispensary pouches, we have worked with a small family-run UK business to design fully compostable pouches. We are the first people ever to use them! 

For our gifting tubs, you can reuse or recycle the outside tub and the inner insert is made with compostable Natureflex material so you can go ahead and compost that too.

We refer to our shop as ‘The Temple of Tea’. We hope you agree!

Please carefully consult the ingredients list to ensure that the product you are interested in does not contain any substances you may be sensitive to. Do be mindful that we operate in an environment that does handle allergen ingredients. All ingredients used in our teas are stored on one premises. We kindly ask that you do your own research and exercise your own judgement based on any conditions you may have when it comes to our ingredients. 

Generally, green and black teas contain caffeine and herbal and fruit ones do not. Please consult individual ingredient lists that stipulate whether caffeine is present.

Your tubs are absolutely refillable and are fisted with food-safe foil lining. If you want to refill your tub, just buy a pouch of your favourite tea flavour and decant.

All our orders are shipped with tracked postage as standard. 

You will get an automatic notification with your order tracking details from Royal Mail when your order has been booked for collection. They will send you an update when it has been collected and when it is due for delivery.

We may be able to offer shipping outside of the UK. Please drop us a line at hello@tea-apothecary.co.uk with the products you are interested in purchasing and the destination country and we will happily look into this.

We have a regular range of 40+ teas plus special seasonal blends. They are all available for purchase in Kraft paper pouches or gifting tubs.

The presentation. Our compostable pouches are a convenient way to store your teas in the kitchen cupboard. Tubs are beautiful and colourful and make wonderful gifts.
